MEET THE STAFF OF DR. CHRISTINE CAMPBELL

Dr. Christine Campbell DDS
Christine Campbell is a native of Falls City, Nebraska, graduating from Falls City High School in 1976. She attended Lincoln School of Commerce, graduating with high distinction in 1977. She was the receptionist for Hilltop Dental Group and then a dental assistant for Cornhusker Dental Group, before returning to college to pursue her dental degree. Dr. Campbell graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1987. Upon completion of her general practice residency at Denver General Hospital, she began her private practice in Lincoln in 1988. She has been at this location since 1992.

Dr. Campbell is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association and the Lincoln District Dental Association. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Academy of General Dentistry and is still an active member.

When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Rachel. Dr. Campbell also likes to read, travel and garden with the help of her chocolate lab, Coco.

Jan Tvrdy, RDH
Jan is a native of Minden, Nebraska, graduating from Minden High School in 1982. She attended the University of Nebraska before moving to Dallas, Texas, where she received her B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Baylor Dental College in 1988. She returned to Nebraska in 1989 and has been working with Dr. Campbell since May 8, 1995.

When not working, Jan enjoys spending time with her children, Taylor and Abby. She also enjoys gardening, landscaping, home improvement projects and golfing.

Kelli Weichel, RDH
Kelli is a native of York, Nebraska graduating from York High School in 1992. She attended Doane College for one year before she transferred to SCC in Lincoln and received a diploma in Dental Assisting. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Dean Doyle in Beatrice, before returning to college to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. Kelli graduated from Central Community College in Hastings, NE in 2001, with an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene. She has been employed with Dr. Campbell since 2001.

Kelli enjoys spending time outside with her husband, Rob, their two children, Lauren and Ethan, and Shih-Tzu Shiloh.

Tonja Francisco
Certified Dental Assistant
Tonja is from Alliance, Nebraska, graduating from Alliance High School in 1993. She attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln, graduating with a certification in Dental Assisting in 1997. Tonja was employed by Dr. Steven Kerns for 12 years and joined Dr. Campbell's office June 2011.

Tonja has been married to her husband Todd since 1997. Together they have 3 beautiful children, Bryce, Tianna, and Baylee which keep them busy with sports and activities. They spend many hours at the ball fields during the summer with softball and baseball games.

LuAnn Sewell
Office Manager
LuAnn is a native of the Davenport, Iowa area. She spent 4 years at the University of Iowa majoring in Interior Design. After finishing school she spent 3 years in the US Navy where she met her husband, Ed. They spent 17 years of their 28 years of marriage in Visalia, CA and returned to the Midwest in 1997. They have one son, Joshua, who is married to Kristine. In her time away from the dental office she enjoys cooking, gardening and her yellow lab, Bo.

Kris Riechers
Front Office Scheduling – Dental Assistant
Kris is a native of Wilber, Nebraska graduating from Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools in 1982. Following graduation she attended Lincoln School of Commerce in Lincoln, majoring in word processing. She began working for H. Larry Mitchell, D.D.S. in Wilber and stayed there for about one year before working as the District Secretary for the USDA Soil Conservation Service. In the summer of 1986 she accepted the position as Secretary to the Superintendent/Board of Education for the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools and remained in that capacity until 1996 when she was offered the position of Office Manager at the Dental Implant Center of Beatrice. Kris has now been with Dr. Campbell since August of 2007, front office and scheduling as well as dental assisting are among her duties. Kris feels right at home with the dental team and wonderful patients whom are a part of this dynamic dental practice.

Kris has been happily married to Tim since 1986.  They make their living farming east of Wilber, concentrating on both the grain and livestock aspects of the business.  They have been blessed with two daughters, Chelsey and Taylor, and one grandchild.

Emily Kruger
RDH
Emily grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska and graduated from Norfolk Senior High School in 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 2006 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln while working as a dental assistant for Dr. Tom Blankenau and then Dr. Campbell. Emily returned to school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center graduating with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in 2009. She worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Denise Claridge in Lincoln and Dr. Chris Post in York before returning to Dr. Campbell’s office as a dental hygienist and assistant in 2009.

Emily enjoys running, traveling, spending time with her nieces Noelle and Olivia, and spoiling her Pekingese Jake.
